There is a good news for engineering job aspirants in Bihar. BPSC has announced the date of much awaited BPSC AE Exam. BPSC AE Preliminary Exam is now scheduled to be conducted next month in September.
In 2017, BPSC had called applications against vacancies of 3184 posts of AE (Civil and Mechanical) in various departments of State government. Since then candidates are waiting for the exam.

BPSC AE Selection Procedure
The selection process will be completed in 3 stages, Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview.
Preliminary Exam will be qualifying only to select candidates for Mains exam. Successful candidates in Mains exam will be called for Interview. Final merit list of candidates will be prepared on their marks scored in mains exam and interview.
BPSC AE PT SYLLABUS
BPSC Prelims exam paper will be Objective in nature and Multiple Choice Questions type. Number of questions will be 150. Out of 150 questions, 100 questions will be on Basic Engineering and 50 questions will be on General Studies. Each question will carry 1 mark, thus maximum marks of BPSC Prelims exam for AE (Civil and Mechanical) will be 150 marks. The duration of the Prelims exam will be three hours.
